Disconnected

This picture was in Brooklyn, NY. We walked and walked for hours trying to find nature in the block city. We were lucky to find a botanical garden that provided us that escape. We took pictures and enjoyed the view. Then, we went to a park to watch the sunset. At this time both our phones had no battery and the SD card was full. This inconvenience allowed us to sit down and just enjoy our surroundings laying on the grass. Moments like this remind me to be grateful for what I have and the future that waits for me. I talked with my preschool best friend while watching the Brooklyn sunset down. It is amazing where life can take us,
